PSP Pro Gamer's Kit December 29, 2005 Steve (Chicago, IL United States) 33 out of 34 found this review helpful
Before buying this, I just threw my PSP in a travailing bag. There was a risk of scratching the PSP screen and possibly ruining the games.
I highly recommend the PSP Pro Gamer's Kit. It's very sturdy, it has plenty of space in the case for your PSP and it's accessories.
The case is 12 X 8 inches. 3 inches thick.
It has a strong shell. It can actually take a good amount of damage.
___
It has 5 compartments inside.
1. 3 X 4
2. 4 X 4
3. 2 X 3
4. 7 X 3
5. 7 X 3 X 2
___
Insulated foam compartments to protect from bumping.
It has a "secret" compartment in the lid for other accessories.
11 X 7
It has a locking joint so that you can keep the lip open without having to hold it.
2 locking mechanisms to keep it securely closed.
It can hold about 12 games in the bottom half and about 20 in the lid.
I put my PSP, 14 disks, my digital camera, MP3 player and a few other things in it and still had some room.
Surprisingly, nothing slides around and leaves the compartments when it's closed. Things stay put.
____
For the accessories that come with it.
It has Headphones, car adapter, safe screen lens protector, neckband, soft cloth and a game case.
The headphones really suck. Just use your own.
I never use the car adapter, but you might. It really shouldn't come with one. I actually have 3 for the PSP. When ever you buy anything for the PSP, it seems that a car charger comes with it.
The safe screen protector. If you look in the picture, it looks nothing like it. I don't think mine came with one if that's what it looks like.
The neck band is useless. Who really is going to put it around their neck?
I use the soft cloth, it works very well.
And for the game case, no need for it at all.
I would pay $30 just for the case. If it broke, I would buy anther one in a heartbeat. I think it will last for a while.
All you need for your PSP...This case KICKS *ss! July 12, 2005 Joe Blast (Orange County, CA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I just got this kit for my PSP, and it's all I need! The case comes loaded with stuff, and enough room to carry the PSP, A/C adaptor, games, and this cool cradle called Dock-It that let's you sit your PSP at a good angle to watch movies. The bullet-proof James Bond aluminum case keeps everything protected and in one place so you don't loose things.
Dock-It Cradle is in "Starter Kit" April 3, 2005 J. R. Stock (Shelby Township, MI United States) 11 out of 15 found this review helpful
For everyone's information, including the reviewer below, this Intec "Pro Gamer's Kit" does NOT contain the "Dock-It Cradle". If you're looking for the kit that does have it, do a search here on Amazon for the Intec "Pro Starter's Kit".
This "Pro Gamer's Kit" ships with the aluminum case containing all shown in the picture above. The "Pro Starter's Kit" ships with all items shown less the aluminum case, but plus the "Dock-It Cradle". I made my choice to get this "Pro Gamer's Kit" now and buy the "Dock-It Cradle" separately (for less than 10 dollars) when it's released later in April. The aluminum case included in this kit (valued elsewhere at between 15 and 20 dollars) is worth a heck of a lot more than any "soft-type case" you would have to purchase separately if you buy the "Pro Starter's Kit".
As far as the quality of the accessories in this kit, they're the same quality you would get if purchased separately, so the price you're paying in this kit is certainly worth it. If you're looking for "top-of-the-line" accessories, then I would suggest putting your money towards a good set of headphones and buying a better case (if you can find one that can hold your PSP and all accessories like this one does).
I am not new to gaming, having 2 NeoGeo's, a GameBoy, a GameBoy Advance, 2 GameBoy SP's, a PSP, a PS2, a Gamecube, and 2 Dreamcast systems in our home. I am very familiar with Intec's products, and, therefore, understand that plastic is plastic when it comes to accessories, and I know what to expect. All-in-all, I got what I paid for in this "Pro Gamer's Kit", am happy with this purchase, and will buy the "Dock-It Cradle" separately when it's released on April 15th.
Served its purpose May 26, 2009 J. Espinosa (Germany) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this set for my husband because I was tired of having his PSP just lying around and he tends to lose things so the case is great to keep track of all his PSP stuff.
The PSP fits in the case perfectly, it doesn't bang around. I have to take the PSP out of its clear case or it won't fit but that doesn't bother me because the headphones and all the other accessories fit in the case.
In the title of this product it says that color may vary so don't think that because it shows a silver case that you are going to get a silver case. I got a black case which worked out for me because my husband preferred the black case.
Some people have complained about the quality of the ear buds, car charger, and other parts; I really don't know the difference but they seem fine to me and I would have spent the same price for just the case, the accessories were just a perk for me. (I paid $19.99)
The case is a good one, it keeps everything put away in its place but as for the accessories I think they are just fine but I don't know too much about those sorts of things, I just know that it is handy to keep things in their place.

man this case rocks. it has a nice sturdy shell, and the inside holds my psp well in place. the accessories are also great. for example, the game buds are great (a little on the cheap side) but are still duable. the sreen protector workS wonderfully. the care adapter is awsome and the game case holder thing a ma bob works fine and so does the cleening cloth. overall BY THIS ITEM trust me it works great, like i have droped the case with the psp in it and the psp doesnt have a scratch on it. it is also great for travel, but at the same time has a cool and sleek desine. if u by this item i bet u will be as happy as i am about it.
THIS CASE ROCKS.
